Ferrous Alloys

Type 410 Martensitic Stainless Steel

Application & Characteristics
Low-cost, high-strength steel used in turbines, Bourdon springs, medical instruments, bushings, guided missiles, rocket
components and high pressure torque tubes. Excellent spring properties but poor impact resistance at low temperatures.
